This keto gumbo is a culinary masterpiece! The combination of shrimp, crab, and the best keto vegetables like onion and red bell pepper creates a flavorful and authentic Southern experience.

INGREDIENTS

– Butter – Olive oil – Salt and pepper – Onion – Red bell pepper – Shrimp – Crab meat – Minced garlic – Celery – Creole seasoning – Worcestershire sauce – Seafood stock

In a large soup pot over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil, then add and season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until cooked through, then set aside.

In the same pot over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the best keto vegetables: onions, red bell pepper, and celery until softened.

After sautéing the vegetables, mix in the minced garlic, creole seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce, and sauté for another 30 seconds. Then, pour in the seafood stock and bring the mixture to a light boil.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes. Then, mix in the shrimp and crab meat, allowing it to simmer for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
