Can you have Honey on Keto?

Infused with the robust flavors of stout beer and complemented with the subtle sweetness of sugar-free honey, this pot roast transforms into a melt-in-your-mouth culinary masterpiece as it slowly cooks to perfection.

INGREDIENTS

– Olive oil – Beef chuck roast – Stout beer – Sugar-free honey – Onion – Beef broth – Minced garlic – Thyme – Basil – Cinnamon – Salt – Pepper

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Season the roast with salt and pepper on both sides, and sear off in the heated skillet on all sides.

Place the seared roast into the Crockpot. Sprinkle in the onions.

Combine the stout, sugar free honey, beef broth, garlic, basil, thyme, cinnamon and more salt and pepper to taste in a bowl, and whisk well. Pour the mixture over the beef.

Cover the slow cooker and cook Keto Stout and Honey Roast on low for 8 hours. Remove the roast, shred and serve.
