Recipe Notes

Substitute the coconut oil with butter or canola oil if needed.

Feel free to use any other nuts of your liking in place of sliced almonds and chopped walnuts. Great options include slivered almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, and pistachios.

You can use almond butter in place of peanut butter, but it may change the flavor significantly.

Serving & Storing

These bars are best served soon after they’re out of the oven. However, you can enjoy them up to 7 days ahead. Just make sure to store them in an air-tight container in the fridge.

At 7.4g of protein and only 2.4g net carbs in a serving, these are perfect as a post-workout meal or keto-friendly lunchtime snack.

They’re great eaten with a cup of keto coffee or tea.
