This keto parmesan crusted chicken is fast to make in your Air Fryer and absolutely delicious. Keto parm chicken is the perfect choice for dinner tonight if you are on a lowcarb diet.

When you are making your low carb meal plan this week, I highly recommend that you add this keto chicken parmesan to your menu. I love to meal prep in advance so my dinners are easy and delicious.

You can do this recipe with baked chicken on a baking sheet, but I recommend using your Air Fryer because it is faster and better for you. This Keto parmesan Crusted chicken recipe is a delicious recipe that you’ll want to make again and again.

There are lots of great Air Fryers that work for Keto Air Fryer recipes. I recommend these from Amazon. No need to prehead the ovens and heat up your house with yoru Air Fried chicken parmesan.

If you love going to Italian restaurants and love getting their chicken parmesan recipes, you might feel like this is something you aren’t going to be able to eat anymore, but there are so many great low carb bread options, that work for parmesan chicken breading.

In this recipe we are using italian seasoning, low carb tomato sauce and grated parmesan cheese. Add a side of green beans for a super easy keto dinner.

Low Carb parmesan crusted chicken

  • 6 thin slices chicken breasts (about 1.3 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups of crushed pork rinds
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of dried parsley
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray
  • Basil or parsley for garnish
  1. Add pork rinds, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to a food processor. Pulse a few times until it’s combined and the consistency of bread crumbs. Pour into a wide deep bowl, set to the side.
  2. Whisk eggs together in a wide bowl, set to the side.
  3. Take a chicken breast, dip it into the egg wash and then dip into the crushed pork rind mixture.
  4. Add to the basket of an Air Fryer and repeat with two more chicken breasts. (This will have to be done in two batches.)
  5. Spray the tops of chicken with cooking spray.
  6. Set temperature to 390 degrees and the timer for 10 minutes. After ten minutes, flip chicken and spray that side and cook an additional 3 minutes.
  7. Next, add about 2-3 teaspoons of marinara sauce over the chicken, leaving the edges untouched. Sprinkle over mozzarella cheese to coat the marinara sauce.
  8. Turn heat up to 400 degrees and cook for 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
  9. Repeat with remaining chicken.
  10. Serve and garnish with chopped basil or parsley.
