Add a flavor flair to your fall and make this healthy Keto Pumpkin Mousse. Extremely creamy and bursting with that spicy pumpkin flavor we all know and love. Light and fluffy, you’ll be baffled that it’s so healthy.

As far as keto pumpkin dessert recipes go, this has to be one of my favorites. Mainly because it’s so easy, takes very few ingredients, and seriously doesn’t taste healthy at all. Not that healthy is a bad flavor, it’s just usually obvious when it’s a healthier dessert.
This Keto Pumpkin Mousse will totally change your mind about that notion. It is perfect for this time of year as well!
One of the best things about this recipe is how incredibly versatile it is. It is perfect for a dinner party or potluck as a dip, dessert, filling, etc. You could even combine it with this Keto Banana Pudding or replace the filling inside these Keto Peanut Butter Cups with it!
I’ve used it to fill keto baked donuts before as well and it was a hit. However you choose to use this keto pumpkin dessert, it will be delicious!

How to Make Keto Pumpkin Mousse

- Mix Ingredients - Combine all of your ingredients in a mixing bowl and thoroughly mix. Use a hand mixer to really whip up the mixture until it starts to stiffen and peak.
- Serve - Place mixture in your favorite dessert dishes and enjoy!
Tips and Variations
- Storage - Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days. This can be stored in the freezer in a sealed container, for up to 2 months.
- Reheating - You don’t want to heat this keto pumpkin dessert up as it will melt. If you have it frozen, let it thaw on its own. If it seems less fluffy after thawing, use the hand mixer to give it some life.
- Add some cream cheese - If you want to make it a keto pumpkin cheesecake mousse or a little thicker, you can add a bit of softened cream cheese when you start the beating process.
- Make it a dip - This recipe makes a great keto pumpkin dip for fruits and keto graham crackers.
- Freeze it - Make this keto mousse a frozen snack! Fill a silicone mold with the mixture and freeze it until solid. Enjoy!
- Make it a fat bomb - If you want to make your Keto pumpkin dip into a fat bomb, you can add some coconut oil or cream cheese.
- Why isn’t it thickening up? - Be sure to use cold heavy cream for the best results. However, even if your cream isn’t cold, it should thicken up just fine. I know it can be hard to be patient, but if it’s not thick, just keep beating. You can try adding a bit of cream of tartar if you absolutely need to.
- Make it a candy - If you want to make a pumpkin flavored candy, you can freeze a small layer of melted chocolate, fill the middle with this mousse mixture, then cover the top with more melted chocolate. Let it harden and voila!
- Use it like whipped cream - This tasty dessert can be used to fill things like donuts, cupcakes, or even used to top drinks like whipped cream!

Common Questions About Keto Pumpkin Mousse
What Do You Do if Your Mousse is Too Runny?
The problem with runny mousse could be a result of bad cream. Make sure it is chilled and has plenty of fat. The fat in the mousse really helps to aerate the mixture and give it that iconic fluff. Another problem could be that you didn’t beat the mixture long enough.
The heavy cream really needs time to stiffen up and start retaining some shape. If you don’t beat it long enough, you’ll end up with a pumpkin soup rather than pumpkin mousse.

Why is it Called Mousse?
Mousse is known for its fluffiness and creaminess. The name of the dessert was actually adopted from the creamy hair product used for styling. Both have very similar textures.
