A bowl of food on a plate

I promise that you’re going to fall in love with this garlic parmesan dip recipe. It’s super versatile because it’s perfect for keto snacks, keto main dishes, keto lunches, and so on.

I like making homemade dippers like these Keto Nacho Chips to use with it. I’ve also used it to top these Cauliflower Bites, which turned out to be a hit appetizer.

One of my favorite ways to eat it that tops the chart is in sandwich form. I love to make that cloud bread that’s keto-friendly. Then, I use this keto chicken garlic parmesan dip to make a delicious sandwich.

I know not everyone enjoys that cloud bread, but it’s definitely been a nice replacement for bread in general since starting the keto lifestyle. However, you decide to eat this garlic parmesan dip recipe, you’ll love it.

Tips and Variations

  • Storage - Store this garlic parmesan chicken dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can also cover the casserole dish it’s in with plastic or a lid and this will work as well. I don’t suggest freezing this dish.
  • Reheating - Place in the oven for a few minutes to heat it up or the microwave works as well. Be sure the dish it’s in is microwave safe.
  • Make it spicy - Add in some crushed red pepper or pickled jalapenos to this appetizer to give it a kick.
  • Can I use chilled cream cheese? - You don’t want to try and use chilled cream cheese in this recipe. When it comes to effectively mixing the cream cheese with the rest of the ingredients, it will be about impossible to do so. Room temperature cream cheese is the best for making this garlic parmesan dip and easy recipe.
  • Use leftover chicken - This dish is great for using up extra chicken or even using canned chicken if you’re in a pinch. Rotisserie chicken is one of my favorite options.

Common Questions About Garlic Parmesan Dip Recipe with Chicken

How Long Can Garlic Parmesan Chicken Dip Sit Out?

I would not suggest leaving it to sit out for longer than 6-8 hours. It’s definitely understandable if you’re using it for a party and need to leave it out for the duration of the event.

However, if there are periods where people aren’t going to be around the food or eating it, it may be smart to stick it in the fridge.

Chicken is the worst for bacteria when it’s left out. So, the safest route is just to not leave it out any longer than you have to. If you leave it out overnight, I suggest tossing it.

Can You Freeze Keto Chicken Garlic Parmesan Dip?

You definitely can freeze it, but I wouldn't suggest it. I wasn’t a fan of how it tasted after it had been frozen and reheated. Of course, I could be a little picky. If you plan on freezing it, be sure it’s placed in an airtight container.

To reheat, let it sit out and come to room temperature on its own before popping it in the oven or microwave.
